Usrah Budi 4: Analysis on Ramadan Campaign

In this post, I will share about the analysis after the campaign has been done within the month of Ramadan.
Firstly, the objective of running this campaign is to increase the knowledge about Sunnah of Prophet SAW among the readers. Some people only know the basic Sunnahs in Ramadan like Iftar, Taraweh but does not know that the smallest doing like sahoor is also a Sunnah that our Prophet does. I believe it is important for Muslims to know and learn about the Sunnahs in Ramadan to achieve much more benefit and bless from Allah SWT. Secondly, this campaign can encourage the audience to practice the Sunnah of Prophet Rasulullah SAW. Process of learning acquires us to practice the knowledge that we receive. This can ensure our understanding and also sustain the knowledge in our daily life. Thirdly, this campaign helps to introduce some du'as that Prophet SAW has been practicing especially in the month of Ramadan.
Our target audience for this campaign is our followers on Instagram, friends on Facebook, Whatsapp contacts and also group members from Whatsapp group chats which are from our families, friends and also acquaintance.
Next, we did some SWOT analysis for the campaign. Strength for our campaign is that it is easy to reach people through social media. Everyone has gadgets nowadays and almost everyone has their own accounts on social media like Facebook, Instagram and etc, so the campaign is reachable almost to all our contacts. It is also easy for us to obtain information on the topic. There are many reliable sources online and for our group we refer to the Mufti website, website of our Jabatan Agama Negeri and also blogs that mentions their source of references. Lastly, visual aids like posters and videos also help viewers to understand the message because creativity makes it interesting to read.
Furthermore, the weaknesses of our campaign is lack of engagement with the community. We did not receive any feedback or response from viewers so there is no 2 way communication. Secondly, in our group there are no influencers or instafamous, so we could not reach a larger crowd.
Opportunities of the campaign is that it is sustainable as it involves almost zero cost to run the campaign. Various platforms of sharing are available to deliver the message well such as through Whatsapp group chat, Whatsapp status, Instagram story, and post etc. We also get to spread more beneficial knowledge about Islam and its teaching to others.
Despite the opportunities of the campaign, there were also some threats which are time constraint. It took quite some time in doing the posters and videos but I believe this can be solve with proper time management. Moreover, language barrier can be a threat since readers are mostly Malaysian and not everyone can understand English well. There are also some probability of getting false sources from the internet regarding the content.
Impact from the campaign is that everyone can learn and practice these knowledge in their lives. We all can also gain rewards from Allah for spreading knowledge and practicing these Sunnahs. Lastly, this activity helps us to be discipline and keep sharing every week according to the planned schedule.
